A check signed by the late co-founder Steve Jobs of Apple Inc. was sold at an auction for a price as high as $46,063. RRAuction conducted the bidding for this vintage collectible, initially estimating its sale price to exceed $25,000. The check, issued by Wells Fargo Bank, is dated July 23, 1976 – three months after the establishment of Apple – and made payable to Radio Shack for $4.01. In the address field, it mentions the location where Jobs and Wozniak operated a cassette recorder and mail delivery service in Jobs’ family garage.
